U.S. ROUTE 250 AND INTERSTATE 77 TO BE RESTRICTED NEXT WEEK FOR UTILITY WORK
(NEW PHILADELPHIA, OHIO) --U.S. Route 250 and Interstate 77 will be restricted early next week, weather permitting, in Tuscarawas County, while American Electric Power installs new fiber optic cables over the highways.
U.S. 250 will be restricted briefly in both directions around 2 p.m. Monday, May 19th, approximately 1.5 miles west of the Schoenbrunn Exit at New Philadelphia and around 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 20th, just east of the I-77 Interchange. Additionally, I-77 will be restricted around 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20th, just south of the U.S. 250 Interchange.
Traffic will be stopped for approximately 10 minutes at all three of these locations. Motorists are urged to use caution and be prepared for slight delays.
If inclement weather exists, the work will be rescheduled for the next day.
