State Route 558 to be closed in Fairfield Township for bridge replacement
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, May 19, 2014) – State Route 558 will be closed to traffic for 80 days, beginning Monday, June 2nd, for a bridge deck replacement just east of State Route 164 in Fairfield Township, Columbiana County.
SR 11 (under SR 558) will also have daytime width restrictions with barrels starting next week.
Beginning at the intersection of SR 558 and SR 164, traffic will be detoured south on SR 164 to SR 517 east back to SR 558, and reverse.
ODOT’s contractor for this $1.13 million project is A P O’horo Company, from Youngstown, Ohio, and the completion date is September 2014.
