State Route 39 pavement work postponed due to scheduling conflicts

New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, May 20, 2013) – Preventive maintenance pavement work set to begin today on about five miles of State Route 39 in Holmes County has been postponed until August 5th due to the contractor’s schedule.
SR 39 will be chip sealed from the Ashland County line to SR 179 near Nashville. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers.
ODOT’s contractor for this $255,000 project is the Shelly Company, from Thornville, Ohio. All work will be completed by November.
