MOTORISTS SHOULD EXPECT DELAYS NEXT WEEK ON STATE ROUTE 7 FOR WORK AT THE W.H. SAMMIS PLANT
(NEW PHILADELPHIA, OHIO) -- Weather permitting, State Route 7 traffic will be stopped for short periods of time next week between Stratton Heights Road and the tunnel in Stratton, Jefferson County, while the FirstEnergy Corp. off-loads equipment from barges as part of their environmental control retrofit construction project now underway at the company's W. H. Sammis Plant.
Motorists should expect short delays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27th, and Friday, May 30th.
