Pavement repairs scheduled for I-70 around mall next week
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Wednesday, May 29, 2013) – Pavement repairs are scheduled to take place next week on Interstate 70 in Belmont County.
Repairs will be made in the travel and middle lanes on a westbound section around the Mall/Banfield Rd. areas between Exits 218 and 219. Additionally, repair work will take place in the eastbound travel lane, beginning just before Exit 218 and ending near Banfield Rd.
Work will be performed during nighttime hours between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. Tuesday, June 4th and Wednesday, June 5th. One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times, but motorists should be aware of possible delays.
ODOT’s contractor for this work estimated to cost $177,000 is Shelly & Sands Inc., from Zanesville, Ohio.
