State Route 800 to be closed over Interstate 70 next week for bridge replacement project

New Philadelphia, Ohio (Thursday, May 31, 2012) – State Route 800 will be closed to traffic for approximately
75 50 days over Interstate 70 at Hendrysburg in Belmont County next Monday, June 4th, for a bridge replacement project.
Northbound SR 800 traffic will be detoured east on I-70 to the CR 100/U.S. 40 Interchange and reverse. Southbound SR 800 traffic will be detoured west on I-70 to the CR 114 (Fairview) Exit and reverse.
The roadway should be reopened to traffic by the end of July, weather permitting.
ODOT’s contractor for this $1.2 million project is Shelly & Sands Inc., from Zanesville, Ohio. The entire project should be completed by December 2012.
