SR 151 to be closed between Scio and Jewett for concrete paving
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Tuesday, May 31, 2016) – State Route 151 will be closed to traffic later this month for 81 days between Scio and Jewett in Harrison County for concrete paving work.
A $2.1 million rehabilitation project, using bonded concrete overlay, will take place from about one mile east of Scio to the intersection of SR 9.
Starting Monday, June 13th, SR 151 west traffic will be detoured on SR 646 west to U.S. 250 east to SR 9 north back to SR 151 west, and reverse. The road is expected to be reopened to traffic by early September.
Access to all residences along SR 151 within the three mile work zone will be maintained via coordination with ODOT’s contractor, Shelly & Sands Inc., from Columbus, Ohio.
The project completion date is September 30, 2016.
