Final paving work to take place later this week in New Philadelphia
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, June 02, 2014) – Weather permitting, final paving work is set to take place later this week on two blocks of State Route 39 in downtown New Philadelphia.
ODOT’s contractor, Shelly Company, from Twinsburg, Ohio, plans to perform milling work this Thursday, June 5th between 1st Drive NW, North Broadway, and 1st Drive NE, and conclude with paving on Friday, June 6th.
“No Parking Signs” will be installed in these areas during this work.
Work will take place during nighttime hours only between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m., and traffic will be maintained with flaggers.
This work was part of the $1.3 million project from last season that included sections of SR 39 and SR 800 (4th Street) as well as Graff Rd. SE at New Towne Mall.
