Area bridges to be inspected
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Wednesday, June 04, 2014) – Several bridges in Harrison and Belmont County are scheduled to be inspected soon during daytime hours by an ODOT crew and a snooper truck, weather permitting.
On Monday, June 16th, officials will be inspecting the State Route 151 bridge located over the railroad just west of SR 212 at Bowerston in Harrison County.
On Tuesday, June 17th, the Interstate 70 east and westbound bridges over Stillwater Creek and U.S. Route 40 in Belmont County will be inspected.
And on Thursday, June 19th, officials will inspect the SR 7 bridge over the old railroad terminal near 5th Street in Martins Ferry.
Traffic will be restricted but maintained at all of these locations during this work.
