ODOT seeks comments on State Route 150 bridge replacement project in Jefferson County
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, June 6, 2011) – The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 11 is proposing a bridge replacement project on State Route 150 in Warren Township, Jefferson County.
The project will remove the existing bridge on SR 150 over Short Creek and replace it with a two span, prestressed concrete I-beam bridge.
Construction is anticipated for the spring of 2013. Traffic will be maintained during the majority of construction, utilizing part-width construction techniques. Minor new right of way will be required to complete the project.
ODOT is seeking comments from the public about the social, environmental, and economic impacts of this proposed project. Environmental impacts could include those involving archeological, architectural and ecological resources, hazardous materials, and the general location of the project.
