SR 514 to be closed next week for a culvert replacement project
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, June 06, 2016) – State Route 514 will be closed next Wednesday, June 15th, south of Nashville in Holmes County for a culvert replacement project.
SR 514 north traffic will be detoured on SR 39 east to SR 60 south to U.S. Route 62 west to SR 520 west back to SR 514 north, and reverse.
The road is expected to be reopened to traffic in 30 days.
ODOT’s contractor for this $134,302 project is Stanley Miller Construction Company, from East Sparta, Ohio, and the overall completion date is July 31, 2016.

As a $2.8 billion per year enterprise, ODOT invests the bulk of its resources in system preservation through maintenance, construction and snow and ice operations.
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
