New highway signs to be installed along U.S. Routes 250 and 36 in Tuscarawas County
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, June 13, 2011) – Work is beginning today to install new highway signs along U.S. Routes 250 and 36 as part of a safety upgrade project in Tuscarawas County.
All the existing guide, route, regulatory and warning signing will be replaced along U.S. 250 from Interstate 77 at New Philadelphia to State Route 800 at Dennison as well as the signs on the four-lane section of U.S. 36 from Indian Hill Road to the U.S. 250/Uhrichsville Exit.
Impacts to traffic should be minimal.
This $1.2 million project also includes sign work along SR 7 in Columbiana and Jefferson counties.
ODOT's contractor for this project is Lake Erie Construction Company, from Norwalk, Ohio, and the completion date for all work is October 31, 2011.
