Work to begin on State Route 164 culvert replacement project
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, June 15, 2015) – Work will begin next Monday, June 22nd, to replace a box culvert under State Route 164 just south of State Route 518 near Gavers in Columbiana County.
Two-way traffic will be maintained with flaggers except for a nine-day closure expected to begin July 6th. At that time, traffic will be detoured on SR 518 west to SR 644 north to U.S. Route 30 east back to SR 164, and reverse.
ODOT’s contractor for this $251,000 project is Rudzik Excavating Inc., from Struthers, Ohio, and the completion date is July 15, 2015.
