Work to begin on SR 7 between Bridgeport and Martins Ferry
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, June 15, 2015) – Guardrail replacement work is expected to get under way next Monday, June 22nd, as part of a $1.4 million project to resurface State Route 7 through Bridgeport and Martins Ferry in Belmont County.
One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction at all times.
Paving operations will take place at night between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. but are not expected to begin until mid-July.
ODOT’s contractor for this project is Shelly & Sands Inc., from Rayland, Ohio, and the completion date is mid-September 2015.
