Towpath Road to be closed next week for bridge replacement over Interstate 77 in Tuscarawas County
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Tuesday, June 19, 2012) – County Road 111 (Towpath Rd.) will be closed next Monday, June 25th, for a bridge replacement project over Interstate 77 just south of Bolivar in Tuscarawas County.
The road will be closed for 50 days. Traffic will be detoured on CR 402 (Fort Laurens Rd.) to State Route 212 to CR 82 (Dover-Zoar Rd.).
Daily and nightly lane closures with rolling road blocks will occur on I-77during the bridge demolition and steel painting.
ODOT’s contractor for this $1 million project is Shelly & Sands Inc., from Zanesville, Ohio. All work on this project should be completed by the end of the year.
