Route 9 to be restricted next week north of Carrollton
CARROLL COUNTY – State Route 9 will be restricted
again next week north of Carrollton as part of the ongoing, $1.13 million
intersection improvement project at State Route 171.
Starting Monday, June 26th,
SR 9 will be reduced to one lane with temporary traffic signals, while ODOT’s
contractor, Central-Allied Enterprises Inc.,
from Canton, Ohio, completes
the intersection by tying the new SR 171 roadway into SR 9. This work is
expected to take two weeks to complete.
171 remains closed and traffic detoured on SR 9 south to SR 39 west to SR 43
north back to SR 171, and reverse.
