Route 7 to be restricted south of Yellow Creek
JEFFERSON COUNTY – Northbound State
Route 7 will be reduced to one, 14-foot lane Monday, July 10th, for
a landslide repair project just south of Yellow Creek.
Northbound traffic will be restricted to
the passing lane with concrete barrier just south of the north SR 213
intersection in Saline Township. Southbound lanes will not be impacted.
ODOT’s contractor, Beaver Excavating
Company, from Canton, Ohio, will be constructing a 100 feet long, soil nail
retaining wall between the roadway and the railroad.
The cost of the project is $322,000, and
the completion date is October 31, 2017.
