U.S. Route 250 to be Restricted Near Sunset Heights for Landslide Repairs
(NEW PHILADELPHIA, OHIO) --U.S. Route 250 will be restricted Monday, July 6th, north of Bridgeport near Sunset Heights in Belmont County for a landslide repair project.
U.S. 250 will be reduced to one, 12-foot lane for two-way traffic with a temporary traffic signal.
ODOT’s contractor for this $535,000 project is Alan Stone Co. Inc., from Cutler, Ohio, and the completion date is October 31, 2009.
ODOT reminds motorists to SLOW DOWN for the "Cone Zone;" turn on headlights and drive carefully in work zones. Drive responsibly for your safety and the safety of the highway workers. Remember, fines in work zones are doubled for not obeying traffic signs. Minimize distractions – turn OFF cell phones in construction zones. Remember to always buckle up.
