State Route 9 to be Restricted Friday South of St. Clairsville for Landslide Repairs
(NEW PHILADELPHIA, OHIO) --State Route 9 will be reduced to one, 12-foot lane this Friday, June 26th, south of St. Clairsville in Belmont County for a landslide repair project.
Two-way traffic will be maintained with temporary traffic signals.
ODOT’s contractor for this $181,190 project is McConnell Contracting Inc., from West Lafayette, Ohio, and the completion date is August 31, 2009.
ODOT reminds motorists to SLOW DOWN for the "Cone Zone;" turn on headlights and drive carefully in work zones. Drive responsibly for your safety and the safety of the highway workers. Remember, fines in work zones are doubled for not obeying traffic signs. Minimize distractions – turn OFF cell phones in construction zones. Remember to always buckle up.
