Tuscarawas County Highways Restricted Due to High Water
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Wednesday, June 26, 2013) – Several state highways in Tuscarawas County are restricted or closed this morning due to high water from last night’s storms.
U.S. 36 Route westbound is one lane near Newcomerstown.
SR 800 is one lane south of Moravian Trail Rd. (CR 36).
SR 258 is closed from Post Boy Rd. to Gravel Lick Rd. and between Stillwater and West Chester. No official detours will be posted. The road will be reopened as soon as the waters recede.
ODOT officials are continuing to assess damages and area roadways this morning.
