Update on Tuscarawas Highways Restricted Due to High Water
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Wednesday, June 26, 2013-10:45 a.m.) – All state highways in Tuscarawas County are now reopened except for State Route 258 which closed due to high water early this morning from the storms.
U.S. Route 36 near Newcomerstown and SR 800 south of Dennison are no longer restricted.
SR 258 remains closed from Post Boy Rd. to Gravel Lick Rd. and between Stillwater and West Chester. No official detours will be posted. The road will be reopened as soon as the waters recede.
ODOT crews will continue to assess damages, cleanup debris, and monitor high water today.
