preservation project begins on State Route 11
COLUMBIANA COUNTY - Work
is getting started today on a project to
extend the pavement life on over six miles of State Route 11 between Lisbon/SR
154 Exit and the Columbiana Leetonia/SR 558 Exit.
As a preservation strategy, SR 11 will be microsurfaced
to seal the pavement, making it last longer. Utilizing aggressive preservation treatments, such as chip seal and
microsurfacing, lowers costs over the
long term, enabling ODOT to resurface more roads and provide a smoother ride
for more people.
Traffic will be maintained.
ODOT’s contractor for this $668,000 project is Ny-Mac
Enterprises, Inc., from Lansing, Michigan, and the completion date is July 31,
