U.S. Route 250 Restriction Postponed Near Sunset Heights
(NEW PHILADELPHIA, OHIO) --The U.S. Route 250 restriction scheduled for next Monday, July 6th, just north of Bridgeport near Sunset Heights in Belmont County has been postponed until July 13, 2009.
The roadway will be reduced to one, 12-foot lane for two-way traffic with a temporary traffic signal while crews repair a landslide.
ODOT’s contractor for this $535,000 project is Alan Stone Co. Inc., from Cutler, Ohio, and the completion date is October 31, 2009.
ODOT reminds motorists to SLOW DOWN for the "Cone Zone;" turn on headlights and drive carefully in work zones. Drive responsibly for your safety and the safety of the highway workers. Remember, fines in work zones are doubled for not obeying traffic signs. Minimize distractions – turn OFF cell phones in construction zones. Remember to always buckle up.
