State Route 9 to be closed next week for bridge repair project
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, July 2, 2012) – State Route 9 will be closed to traffic next Monday, July 9th, in Augusta Township, Carroll County for a bridge repair project.
SR 9 will be closed about 4 ½ miles north of SR 171 near Augusta for 14 days. Beginning at the intersection of U.S. 30 and SR 9, traffic will be detoured west on U.S. 30 to SR 183 south to SR 43 south to SR 171 east back to SR 9, and reverse.
With the exception of this road closure, traffic will be maintained with flaggers.
ODOT’s contractor for this $170,000 project is Cross Roads Construction Inc., from Cambridge, Ohio. All work should be completed this year.
