Holmes and Tuscarawas County bridges to be inspected
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Tuesday, July 5, 2011) – Area bridges in Holmes and Tuscarawas County will be inspected over the next two weeks during daytime hours by ODOT crews and a snooper truck, weather permitting.
On Tuesday, July 12th, crews will inspect two State Route 39 bridges on the west side of Millersburg.
On Wednesday, July 13th, crews will move to Tuscarawas County and inspect the SR 800 bridge over Stillwater Creek near Tippecanoe as well as the SR 800 bridge over Big Stillwater Creek just south of Moravian Trail Road.
On Thursday, July 14th, both the I-77 north and southbound bridges over an abandoned railroad just north of Dover will be inspected.
The following week, crews plan to inspect the U.S. 36 bridge over Buckhorn Creek near County Road 21 at Newcomerstown as well as the SR 258 bridge over the Tuscarawas River on Monday, July 18th.
On Tuesday, July 19th, the SR 259 (East High Avenue) bridge over U.S. 250 in New Philadelphia will be inspected.
And on Wednesday, July 20th, the SR 39 (West High Avenue) bridge over the Tuscarawas River near the I-77 Interchange in New Philadelphia will be inspected.
Traffic will be restricted but maintained at all of these locations during this work.
