Bridge Painting to Begin Tomorrow Under U.S. Route 22 at Cadiz in Harrison County
(NEW PHILADELPHIA, OHIO) --The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 11 will begin work tomorrow, July 10th, to paint three bridges on or over U.S. Route 22 in Harrison County.
Beginning tomorrow, County Road 11 will be restricted during daytime hours under the U.S. 22 bridges at Cadiz. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers on CR 11 underneath the U.S. 22 structures, but traffic on U.S. 22 will not be impacted.
This project will also include work on the State Route 151 bridge located over U.S. 22 near Hopedale.
ODOT’s contractor for this $835,955 project is Panther Industrial Painting LLC, from Campbell, Ohio, and the completion date is September 15, 2008.
ODOT reminds motorists to SLOW DOWN for the "Cone Zone;" turn on headlights and drive carefully in work zones. Drive responsibly for your safety and the safety of the highway workers. Remember, fines in work zones are doubled for not obeying traffic signs. Minimize distractions – turn OFF cell phones in construction zones. Remember to always buckle up.
