State Route 558 to be closed near Lower Elkton Road next week
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Thursday, July 10, 2014) – Beginning Wednesday, July 16th, State Route 558 will be closed for two days just west of Lower Elkton Road in Columbiana County for a culvert replacement by ODOT’s maintenance crew.
SR 558 is already closed about a mile west of this location and just east of SR 164 for a $1.13 million bridge deck replacement project that began in June.
Traffic should use the detour posted for the bridge project which is south on SR 164 to SR 517 east back to SR 558, and reverse. This two-day closure should only affect local traffic.
