State Route 7 southbound to be reduced to one lane at Steubenville next week for utility relocation work
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, July 11, 2016) – Starting next Monday, July 18th, State Route 7 southbound will be reduced to one lane for about four weeks from University Blvd. for approximately 800 feet for utility relocation on the $10 million access improvement project to the Veterans Memorial Bridge in Jefferson County.
One, 12-foot lane for traffic will be maintained in the passing lane with barrier wall. The travel (right) lane will be closed.
This work is being performed by a subcontractor of AT&T to relocate their telephone line and a manhole.
ODOT’s contractor for this project is Shelly & Sands Inc., from Columbus, Ohio, and the overall completion date is November 30, 2017.
