Interstate 77 traffic to be stopped briefly Wednesday morning for utility work
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, July 11, 2016) – Interstate 77 traffic will be stopped briefly in both directions Wednesday morning, July 13th, one mile north of the Guernsey/Tuscarawas County line for utility work.
Around 9:30 a.m., Guernsey Muskingum Electric Cooperative, Inc., from New Concord, Ohio, will be removing an existing aerial transmission line crossing over the highway.
Minimal impacts are expected. Traffic will be stopped in both directions for less than five minutes.
