State Route 646 to be closed next week between Richmond and Broadacre for landslide repair
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Tuesday, July 14, 2015) – Starting next Wednesday, July 22nd, State Route 646 will be closed to traffic for 42 days just east of State Route 152 in Jefferson County for repairs to a landslide that restricted the roadway in March.
Beginning at the intersection of SR 646 and SR 152, traffic will be detoured north on SR 152 to SR 43 south back to SR 646, and reverse.
SR 646 is expected to be open to traffic by Monday, August 31, 2015.
ODOT’s contractor for this $355,000 project is Ohio-West Virginia Excavating Co., from Shadyside, Ohio.
