State Route 7 Traffic to be Restricted Later this Week for Work at the W.H. Sammis Plant
(NEW PHILADELPHIA, OHIO) --State Route 7 traffic will be stopped briefly Wednesday through Friday this week, July 23rd, 24th, and 25th, between Stratton Heights Road and the tunnel in Stratton, Jefferson County, while the FirstEnergy Corp. transports three rings as part of their environmental control retrofit construction project underway at the company's W.H. Sammis Plant.
One ring will be moved each day between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
