Traffic delays anticipated between Gavers and West Point Sunday
150th Anniversary and Re-enactment of Morgan’s Raid to take place in Columbiana County
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, July 22, 2013) – Motorists may experience traffic delays on State Route 518 between Gavers and West Point in Columbiana County this Sunday, July 28th, between noon and 5 p.m. as part of the region’s 150th Anniversary and Re-enactment of Morgan’s Raid.
Event organizers anticipate heavy traffic between SR 164 and SR 518 in the afternoon hours during a re-enactment of the surrender at the historic rock area on SR 518.
ODOT is advising motorists to use caution through this area and to use an alternate route to avoid delays.
