I-70 to be restricted during nighttime hours next week for spot paving
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Wednesday, July 22, 2015) – Interstate 70 westbound will be reduced to one lane next Monday and Tuesday nights (July 27th and July 28th) in Belmont County for spot paving work.
Weather permitting, work will take place both nights between 6:30 p.m. and 7 a.m. from I-470 to just west of Mall Road.
Motorists are urged to use caution and plan ahead to avoid delays. Eastbound lanes will not be impacted.
ODOT’s contractor is Kelly Paving Inc., from Zanesville, Ohio, and the total cost is about $193,000.
