Beginning August 4th, 2008, SR 416 will be closed to traffic for 21 days. Traffic will be detoured from the intersection of SR 416 and SR 800 south on SR 800 through the city of Dover to SR 39 in the city of New Philadelphia, then east on SR 39 back to SR 416, and reverse.
ODOT’s contractor for this $256,385 project is Stanley Miller Construction Company, from East Sparta, Ohio, and the completion date is August 31, 2008.
ODOT reminds motorists to SLOW DOWN for the "Cone Zone;" turn on headlights and drive carefully in work zones. Drive responsibly for your safety and the safety of the highway workers. Remember, fines in work zones are doubled for not obeying traffic signs. Minimize distractions – turn OFF cell phones in construction zones. Remember to always buckle up.
