State Route 45 restricted for bridge deck replacement near Teegarden
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, July 26, 2010) – State Route 45 was reduced to one-lane last week about five miles north of Lisbon near Teegarden in Columbiana County for a bridge deck replacement project over the middle fork of Little Beaver Creek.
Two-way traffic is being maintained on one lane with temporary traffic signals.
ODOT's contractor for this $876,801 project is DOT Construction Corp., from Canfield, Ohio, and the completion date is October 31, 2010.
ODOT reminds motorists to SLOW DOWN for the "Cone Zone;" turn on headlights and drive carefully in work zones. Drive responsibly for your safety and the safety of the highway workers. Remember, fines in work zones are doubled for not obeying traffic signs. Minimize distractions – turn OFF cell phones in construction zones. Remember to always buckle up.
