U.S. Route 22 night work to extend into Saturdays at Steubenville
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, July 27, 2015) – Ongoing night work to repair the concrete joints on U.S. Route 22/State Route 7 at Steubenville in Jefferson County will now extend into Saturdays, starting this week Aug. 1st.
Sunday thru Thursday night work began a couple of weeks ago, but due to the amount of repairs needed, work will now extend through daytime hours on Saturdays as well. However, no daytime restrictions will occur on Sundays.
U.S. 22/SR 7 will be reduced to one lane in each direction between University Boulevard and the SR 213 intersection.
ODOT’s contractor for this $3.9 million resurfacing project is Shelly & Sands, Inc., from Columbus, Ohio, and the completion date is mid-October 2015.
