U.S. Route 250 to be restricted next week at McCauley Drive for concrete repairs
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Thursday, July 28, 2016) – Starting next Tuesday, August 2nd, U.S. Route 250 will be restricted at McCauley Drive in Uhrichsville for concrete pavement repairs.
One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction with daily lane closures and lane shifts; motorists are urged to use caution through this area and plan ahead to avoid delays.
ODOT’s contractor for this $250,000 project is Smith Paving & Excavating Inc., from Norwalk, Ohio. Work is expected to be completed within two weeks.
The Ohio Department of Transportation maintains the state's largest man-made asset – the transportation system. ODOT's mission is to provide the safe and easy movement of people and goods from place to place. As a $2.8 billion per year enterprise, ODOT invests the bulk of its resources in system preservation through maintenance, construction and snow and ice operations.
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
