State Route 9 to be closed north of Cadiz next week for pavement work
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, August 1, 2011) – State Route 9 will be closed to traffic next Monday, August 8th, between Jewett and Cadiz in Harrison County for pavement reconstruction work.
This work is part of a $255,684 bridge replacement project over an unnamed tributary to Clear Fork completed last summer.
The roadway will only be closed for three days while ODOT’s contractor, BOG Construction Inc., from Berlin Center, Ohio, corrects a superelevation deficiency or cross slope of the pavement.
Beginning at SR 9 and the U.S. 22 ramp in Cadiz, traffic will be detoured east on U.S. 22 to SR 151 west back to SR 9, and reverse.
