Work to begin on School Street enhancement project in Tuscarawas
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, August 04, 2014) – Work will begin this week on a $538,912 federally-funded, transportation enhancement project on School Street in the village of Tuscarawas.
ODOT’s contractor, Northstar Asphalt Inc., from North Canton, Ohio, plans to begin work Wednesday, August 6th, to widen and resurface the street from Main Street (State Route 416) to East Avenue as well as replace sidewalks and curbs, including ADA ramps.
Two, 10-foot lanes for traffic will be maintained.
The completion date for this project is October 25, 2014.
