Spot paving work to begin next week in three eastern Ohio counties
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Tuesday, August 5, 2014) – Spot paving work is set to begin next week on small sections of roads across three eastern Ohio counties, including Tuscarawas, Carroll, and Holmes.
Below is the tentative schedule, weather permitting.
Next Week, beginning August 12:
· Tuscarawas County
o SR 212, at Bolivar near I-77 Interchange
o U.S. 250, near U.S. 36 on-ramp at Uhrichsville
o SR 800, four locations between SR 416 and SR 212 at Zoarville
Week of August 18:
· Carroll County
o SR 43, north of Carrollton near SR 171
o SR 43, in Malvern
o SR 332, two locations – one near the Harrison Co. line and the other just south of Carrollton
Week of August 25:
· Holmes County
o U.S. 62, between Berlin and Winesburg
o SR 520, two locations northwest of Killbuck
Traffic will be maintained with flaggers.
ODOT’s contractor for this $454,890 project is Northstar Asphalt Inc., from North Canton, Ohio. All work will be completed by mid-November 2014.
