On-ramp to State Route 7 to be closed this weekend at Brilliant as part of bridge project
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Tuesday, August 7, 2012) – The northern most on-ramp to State Route 7 at Brilliant in Jefferson County will be closed to traffic over the weekend for painting as part of an ongoing bridge rehabilitation project.
The SR 7 on-ramp will be closed at 7 p.m., Friday, August 10th and be reopened by 5 a.m., Monday, August 13th.
ODOT’s contractor for this $1.9 million project is Complete General Construction Company, from Columbus, Ohio.
Work began in June to rehabilitate the SR 7 bridge at Salt Run Road (3rd Street) in Brilliant. Most roadway restrictions are expected to be removed by fall; however, all work may not be completed until May 2013.
