State Route 11 resurfacing work to begin next week
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, August 9, 2010) – Resurfacing will begin next Monday, August 16th, on almost five miles of State Route 11 in Columbiana County.
SR 11 will be resurfaced from just north of the U.S. 30/SR 45 Interchange to about a half mile north of the SR 154 Interchange. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction.
ODOT's contractor for this $1.8 million project is Central-Allied Enterprises Inc., from Canton, Ohio, and the completion date is September 30, 2010.
ODOT reminds motorists to SLOW DOWN for the "Cone Zone;" turn on headlights and drive carefully in work zones. Drive responsibly for your safety and the safety of the highway workers. Remember, fines in work zones are doubled for not obeying traffic signs. Minimize distractions – turn OFF cell phones in construction zones. Remember to always buckle up.
