Resurfacing work to begin on SR 644 in Columbiana County
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, August 12, 2013) – Resurfacing work is set to begin next Monday, August 19th, on State Route 644 in Columbiana County.
Over seven miles of SR 644 will be resurfaced from Kensington to Summitville as well as a one mile section from the Carroll County line to Salineville.
Traffic will be maintained with flaggers.
All work on SR 644 is expected to be completed by November 30, 2013.
Additionally, four miles of SR 518 will be resurfaced next spring as part of this project from County Road 413 (Steubenville Pike Rd.) to U.S. Route 30/SR 45 near West Point.
ODOT’s contractor for this $3.4 million project is Central-Allied Enterprises Inc., from Canton, Ohio, and the overall completion date is July 30, 2014.
