Interstate 470 ramp work at State Route 7 near Bellaire to begin this weekend
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Tuesday, August 14, 2012) – The on and off-ramps to Interstate 470 at State Route 7 in Belmont County will be restricted for about a week, beginning Sunday night, August 19th, as part of the $11.7 million project to resurface and rehabilitate the six mile stretch of highway.
For one week, both the on and off ramps will be closed intermittently at night for milling and paving work. This work is expected to take place between approximately 7 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Beginning Monday, August 20th, the I-470 westbound off-ramp to SR 7 will be closed for seven days (24 hours a day). Traffic will be detoured to Exit 3 (CR 214 Exit), then I-470 eastbound to the SR 7 off-ramp.
Work began on this project in April, and most work will be completed this fall.
