I-77 Southbound On-ramp at Strasburg to be Closed Next Week
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Thursday, August 15, 2013) – The Interstate 77 southbound on-ramp at Strasburg will be closed next Tuesday night through early Wednesday morning to complete full-depth concrete pavement repairs as part of the active $8 million resurfacing project between New Philadelphia and Strasburg in Tuscarawas County.
The ramp will be closed from 9 p.m., Tuesday, August 20th to 5 a.m., Wednesday, August 21st. Only the southbound on-ramp at Strasburg will be affected. No official detour will be posted.
Also ongoing, nightly lane restrictions continue on I-77 for paving work from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
ODOT’s contractor for this project is the Shelly Company, from Thornville, Ohio. All work will be completed by the end of this year.
