State Route 212 will be closed during daytime hours only next week
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, August 17, 2015) – State Route 212 will be closed in Tuscarawas County again next week for more culvert replacements – but during daytime hours only.
Starting Monday, August 24th, ODOT maintenance crews will be replacing four culverts located between Somerdale and Johnstown Rd. (County Road 85).
Traffic will only be detoured during daytime hours. The road will be reopened to traffic at the end of each work day.
Beginning at the intersection of SR 212 and SR 800, traffic will be detoured north on SR 800 to SR 183 east to SR 542 south back to SR 212, and reverse.
Officials expect this work to be completed by the end of the day Friday, August 28th.
