ODOT seeks comments on State Route 212 bridge replacement in Carroll County
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Wednesday, August 22, 2012) – The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 11 is seeking comments on a proposed State Route 212 bridge replacement project located about one mile southeast of Leesville in Carroll County.
The project will replace an existing bridge over an unnamed tributary to Conotton Creek. Construction is anticipated for the summer of 2014. The road will be detoured for approximately two weeks during construction, and minor new right of way will be required to complete the project.
ODOT is seeking comments from the public about the social, environmental, and economic impacts of this proposed project. Environmental impacts could include those involving archeological, architectural and ecological resources, hazardous materials and the general location of the project.
