SR 647 to be closed in Martins Ferry for multiple slide repairs
BELMONT COUNTY – State Route 647 will be
closed to traffic Tuesday, September 5th, for 77 days for three
separate slide repairs west of Darrah Rd. in Martins Ferry.
Work is expected to
take 21 days at two of the sites and 35 days at the other.
Traffic will be detoured on SR 150 west
to U.S. Route 250 east to SR 7 north back to SR 647 (Hanover Street) in Martins
Ferry, and reverse.
ODOT’s contractor for this $478,000
project is Ohio-West Virginia Excavating Co., from Shadyside, Ohio, and the
completion date is November 30, 2017.
