Repairs to begin on several bridges in Tuscarawas County
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Monday, August 26, 2013) – Repairs are scheduled to begin next week on the abutments of several different bridges in Tuscarawas County.
Beginning next Tuesday, September 3rd, work will begin on the Interstate 77 bridge at Steele Hill Rd. south of the New Philadelphia Interchange, the U.S. Route 36 ramp bridge to Water Street at Uhrichsville, and on the State Route 258 bridge at Bernice located east of I-77 near Newcomerstown.
Traffic will be maintained at all locations.
ODOT’s contractor for this $309,935 project is Cross Roads Construction Inc., from Cambridge, Ohio. All work should be completed by November 30, 2013.
