Resurfacing slated for State Routes 26 and 148 in Belmont County
New Philadelphia, Ohio (Wednesday, August 28, 2013) – Resurfacing work is slated to begin next month on sections of State Route 26 and State Route 148 in Belmont County.
Work will begin Monday, September 9th, to resurface over seven miles of SR 26 from the Monroe County line to SR 148, and 12 miles of SR 148 will be resurfaced from SR 800 to SR 145.
Traffic will be maintained with flaggers.
ODOT’s contractor for this $1.7 million project is Shelly & Sands Inc., from Zanesville, Ohio, and the completion date is mid-November.
